Methodology

Research Methodology

A consistent five-pillar framework guides every platform research note on this site.

Five-pillar framework

Every trading platform we discuss — including Blumberg-Global — is evaluated using the same five categories: structure, cost, execution, risk and transparency. This framework is intentionally generic; its value lies in applying the same questions to every platform.

Structure

How does the platform source liquidity? Is it a market maker, agency broker or aggregator? Who is the counterparty to client orders?

Cost

Spreads, commissions, swaps, withdrawal fees, inactivity fees, currency conversion. Costs are the most common surprise for new traders.

Execution

How does the platform behave during normal and stressed conditions? Latency, slippage and rejection behavior under volatility.

Risk

Availability and reliability of stop-loss, margin and negative-balance controls.

Transparency

Quality and consistency of documentation, terms and disclosures.

What we do not do

We do not fabricate ratings, awards or testimonials. We do not invent regulatory status, fees, or operating data. Where specifics are unknown, we say so. Read our editorial policy.
